Hello to all,

I wanted to share a little about me & why I am always on a quest for "Mee-Tyme"

My name is Jenni and I was actualy adopted in Las Vegas, yes people actualy grow up there..lol

I have a wonderful loving family, couldn't ask for anything better !

 I now have a family of my own, with 3 wonderful children.  2 girls and a boy, they all keep me on my toes !!  My girls both play soccer and my boy plays high level ice hockey which allows us to travel around North America.  Thank God his sisters love him because they are extremely supportive to travel all over with no complaints to watch their brother play.  

I am a typical mom, but unfortunetly I was diagnosed with a auto immune disorder so I have my ruff times but I don't let my kids know this, it is all fun and games !!

My friends laugh at me as well, when it is time to go to the hospital for a infussion, I laugh & say, "poor me I have to sit in a comfy recliner chair for 4 hours & watch movies, than go home & kick back in bed for the rest of the day, you know some "Mee-Tyme", yeah it's terrible ....lol" (I am being sarcastic if you haven't already figured it out)

What's that saying, when life gives you lemons make lemonade, & it's ok to add a little vodak now & than...lol

I do crafts at home for a little sanity & post items on Etsy.

I have just started this blog to share my life, like a journal , & to share my crafts so please follow along for some fun, interesting, stories  - it's like becoming part of my family so you can have some "Mee-Tyme" with me.

Some good clean fun !!!

Handmade Rose Soap

Hello to all,

I wanted to share some good clean fun with everyone.  

Soap, yes, Soap !!!

 I have made homemade soaps for a while & found my sanity from the kids :)   You know, a little "Mee-Tyme", no pun intended...lol

With 3 kids all in travel sports, soccer & ice hockey,  it gets crazy sometimes and I just want a little piece and quiet.  I found that in making novelty soaps.  I don't know what it is about it but I can just zone a little and love the results I get.   

When I share this with my friends and family they love these special little gifts.  I feel they are straight from the heart since they are made by hand by me.

I decided to share these handmade works of art straight from my heart with everyone through my Etsy shop.  Etsy Shop

Santa Baby Handmade card !!

Hand Stamped Art Straight From The Heart !!

Christmas is around the corner and I see so many beautiful handstamped cards that I just love.   There are so many talented people out there.  I love looking at all these cards and the creativity, but personaly I like a little more edge.  With that being said, I have deceided to start my own blog on handstamped cards.

For my 1st card:  Santa Baby  

I used KennyK stamp Mrs. Claus at Whimsy Stamps.  I hand colored the stamp with Copic markers.   I than added a black border around it from card stock.

 "Santa Baby" is embossed with Ebony embossing powder, and a black border added, from card stock.

The flower is also made from card stock.  I used two different size flower punches to layer a flower from EK Tools, I put a link to the most similair one I could find, they do not sell the one I used anymore. After I glued the flower together I took some black chalk and with my finger and just gave it a little highlighting.

   I used black card stock to make a 5 x 7 card.  For the background of my card I used black and red paper from La Bella Rouge Stack, DCWV.  I than added a plain black ribbon.  After attaching all my pieces together using permant adhesive I felt like it needed a little bling.  Adding a large rhinestone in the middle of the flower and three small rhinestones by Mrs. Claus, by Recollections at Michaels, gave it  the little something it needed.

So there you have it - my first card :)

 I hope you enjoy as much as I enjoyed making it.
